She is very active in fundraising. Last season she attented most meetings of the local speedway, organising and working in the canteen for the brigade. Kay is also a co-organiser of the raft regatta to be held later this year.
Kay supplies refreshments to crews at fires.
The Wattlecamp Base Radio is installed at Kay's home, in the event of a fire, she will have the task of helping to organise and co-ordinate fire fighting activities.
